AUPE Local 042 Council meets in Edmonton
Members of AUPE Local 042 Council, who represent employees of the Alberta Mental Health Board, met at union Headquarters in Edmonton Feb. 26 to discuss the state of bargaining for a new collective agreement as well as the transfer of the AMHB’s services to regional health authorities on April 1, 2003.

AUPE President Dan MacLennan spoke to the Council on the important issues.

Members of Local 042 Chapters 001, 002 and 003 plan an information picket at the Alberta Hospital Ponoka on Friday, Feb. 28, to draw attention to their concerns about negotiations and the transfer of services.
