AUPE Executive Secretary-Treasurer Ed Mardell and many AUPE members took part in the information picket held March 11 in Edmonton by members of the Canadian Auto Workers union who are on strike against the Canadian National Railway.

About 600 CAW members and their supporters gathered at City Hall in downtown Edmonton for the noon-hour march to the nearby CN Tower.
