AUPE Union Representative Jim Petrie,
right, conducted a meeting in June with the chairs of groups covered
under the Multi-Employer Agreement for Auxiliary Nursing Care employees
in Health Region 6. The meeting was held to determine which collective
agreement is used the 'receiving agreement' - a starting point for
negotiations for a new region-wide bargaining unit agreement - as
required by Bill 27 legislation. AUPE has been officially declared
as the union to represent ANC employees in Health Region 6. |
