AUPE Executive Committee candidates have until Sept. 8 to submit
Direct Impact articles
EDMONTON Candidates for executive offices in AUPE have until
Sept. 8 to submit short statements for publication in the pre-Convention
issue of Direct Impact.
AUPE allows candidates for the offices of president, executive secretary-treasurer
or vice president the opportunity to have a statement not exceeding
500 words published in the fall edition of Direct Impact and distributed
to AUPE members.
In order to be entitled to have a submission published in the quarterly
AUPE newspaper, Executive Committee candidates must have declared their
intention to run more than 45 days prior to Convention Sept.
8. This years AUPE Convention will be held Oct. 23, 24 and 25
in Edmonton.

Submissions for Impact can be made by mail, fax or e-mail. In each case,
they should be marked to the attention of David Climenhaga, AUPEs
communications director.
Mailed material must be received by the deadline date. AUPEs mailing
