AUPE Executive Committee candidates have until Sept. 8 to submit Direct Impact articles

EDMONTON – Candidates for executive offices in AUPE have until Sept. 8 to submit short statements for publication in the pre-Convention issue of Direct Impact.

AUPE allows candidates for the offices of president, executive secretary-treasurer or vice president the opportunity to have a statement not exceeding 500 words published in the fall edition of Direct Impact and distributed to AUPE members.

In order to be entitled to have a submission published in the quarterly AUPE newspaper, Executive Committee candidates must have declared their intention to run more than 45 days prior to Convention – Sept. 8. This year’s AUPE Convention will be held Oct. 23, 24 and 25 in Edmonton.

Submissions for Impact can be made by mail, fax or e-mail. In each case, they should be marked to the attention of David Climenhaga, AUPE’s communications director.

Mailed material must be received by the deadline date. AUPE’s mailing address is:
