NorQuest contract will give AUPE members eight per cent over two years
EDMONTON – AUPE members employed by NorQuest College have ratified
a new collective agreement that gives them pay increases of 8 per cent
over two years.
The two-year agreement with the Edmonton vocational college, will give
members of AUPE Local 071/010 a pay increase of four per cent in the
first year, and further increases adding up to four per cent in the
second year.
In addition, the contract provides increases in shift differential to
$1 per hour from 75 cents per hour.
AUPE represents approximately 220 employees at NorQuest College. Members
voted Wednesday evening to ratify the new collective agreement.
