CALGARY — AUPE members are being offered a special rate on a personal and professional development seminar for women Nov. 9 in Calgary.
The AUPE member rate for the seminar — The Power Within for Women — is $189. The general admission for non-members is $329.
The seminar aims to develop leadership, communication, team-building, networking and interpersonal skills while reducing stress and increasing productivity.
Speakers at the Calgary seminar include country and western singer Naomi Judd and Yolanda King, the daughter of U.S. civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
