Over 350 members attend Central AB AGM
More than 350 members from 13 AUPE chapters -- including members of the union’s newest bargaining unit -- turned out to take part in the annual Central Alberta joint annual general meeting at Red Deer College on the evening of April 12. The event was the fifth AGM held in April by AUPE’s Central Alberta locals and chapters. AUPE members employed in government administration, the Michener Centre, Correctional Services, mental health services, front-line nursing and hospital support, among others, were all at the meeting.
