Grandparents Day Picnic 2010
Six hundred people gathered under overcast skies and despite cool temperatures for AUPE's 10th annual Grandparents Day Picnic on Sept. 9. The gathered crowd, as well as the dignitaries who spoke at the event, encouraged the provincial government to do more to protect quality public continuing care facilities for seniors in Alberta.
