Good Sam info picket
Close to 130 AUPE members, activists and the general public gathered in front of the Good Samaritan Society corporate office during rush hour Monday to voice their opposition to recent cutbacks made by the organization. Staff are concerned that the quality of care residents are receiving is under threat because of recent cuts to hours and full time positions by management. Chants by the crowd were met by loud honks of support by passing motorists.
