Edmonton Remand Centre info picket
AUPE Local 003 members and their supporters held an info picket on Mar. 19, 2010 to protest position abolishments and cutbacks that would affect their safety and security and the safety and security of the community. By the end of the info picket the Solicitor General and Public Security Minister Frank Oberle backed away from a decision to close admissions and discharge at the Edmonton and Calgary Remand Centres.
