AUPE info picket at Bethany Camrose
More than 200 AUPE members who work for Bethany Group’s continuing-care facilities in Camrose made their dissatisfaction with the slow pace of their negotiations crystal clear on Monday, June 6. The boisterous crowd of AUPE members from Bethany Camrose, supplemented by supporters from the city’s St. Mary’s Hospital, other AUPE locals and other unions, enjoyed strong support in the community, took part in the information picket from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The members were protesting the slow pace of negotiations with their employer.
