2010 Health Sector Conference
AUPE 2010 Health Sector Conference delegates took part in a lengthy discussion of upcoming labour relations in health care that considered such questions as the effect a single funding source at AHS will have on bargaining, how to prevent non-union providers from influencing bargaining, how to address union sites being converted to non-union sites, changes in qualifications for heath care aides, and how the government is attempting to move long-term care by stealth into the private sector.
