COPA Pre-Election Seminar
COPA pre-election seminars are part of COPA’s continuing effort to persuade AUPE members to get involved in the democratic process. The objective is to identify those who are interested in running for political office at the school board, municipal, provincial and federal levels, as well as members interest in volunteering on campaigns.
AUPE’s policy is not to back a single political party, but to accept that political diversity is a reality among AUPE’s membership and encourage participation in the democratic process by people who understand the importance of public service to their community.
