AUPE’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee met May 30 for a regular meeting at AUPE headquarters.
Day of Mourning
Uniformed members of AUPE’s Honour Guard lead guest speakers from the Alberta government and Alberta Health Services, as well as AUPE special guests, out of a ceremony to honour the International Day of Mourning Apr. 26 at union headquarters in Edmonton. The International Day of Mourning for Workers Killed or Injured on the Job is April 28.

EDMONTON – The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees will commemorate International Day of Mourning for Workers Killed or Injured on the Job today, Friday, April 26, with a memorial ceremony at union headquarters, 10451 – 170 Street NW in Edmonton.
