The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) is searching for Canvass Organizers and Campaign Office Managers to help facilitate the implementation of its Change-the-Law Campaign.
AUPE has launched a campaign to update Alberta’s antiquated labour legislation that, if implemented by government, would guarantee the right of all workers to fair collective bargaining.
Based in the Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary, these temporary, six-week positions require highly organized individuals who have experience implementing political campaigns.

The successful candidates must also be comfortable working in the non-profit sector guiding large numbers of volunteers.
The positions are scheduled to commence Aug. 27, 2007, and conclude on Oct. 07, 2007. These are contract position, and therefore do not include benefits.
